Wow what a week! Our first seven days in PV were also the last seven days of our “vacation” as we’ll be moving into a more normal life schedule. We sure made the most of it and had a week full of family and fun. There would be ten of us in total consisting of the Sado brothers and the Mathias cousins and all of their awesome significant others (which I’m thrilled to include myself in). Without planning it six of us (Johnny, Heather, Spencer, Katrina and ourselves) met in LAX for a connecting flight to PV so we were able to set foot in Mexico together.

Heather had done the research and found us a great hotel right on the beach in Zona Romantica called Los Arcos. If you’re looking for a nice hotel in an awesome location for a mid-range price then this is a good choice. However it is definitely a family oriented hotel so if you’re looking for a non-stop party atmosphere this might not be for you although you can find plenty of that right outside the doors. We chose to go with the all-inclusive package which we definitely used to the fullest despite being right in the middle of dozens of restaurants and bars to tempt us. If you’ve ever stayed in an all-inclusive you know that it has its pros and cons. On the pro side you can eat and drink as much as you want but on the con side…you can eat and drink as much as you want. Aside from the buffet and bar of over indulgence Los Arcos also offers a smallish pool and hot tub, chair and umbrella service on the beach and for an extra cost fabulous spa services. The six of us had requested to be lodged close together and were given rooms on the 4th floor. Tip: Ask for a 4th floor room as they have fabulous huge balconies overlooking the pool and although not a direct view at least a great partial ocean view.

Since we managed to cram a crazy amount of activities into seven days I won’t go into full detail but instead I will lay out the highlights in pictures and video.
